Sears Angus cattle are bred and selected for their correct stature, milk production, fertility, temperament, mothering tendencies, ability to excel under range conditions and of course DNA Markers for Feed Efficiency, Tenderness, and Quality Grade. Sears Angus stands apart in the Angus breed. We selectively breed our cattle to carry the DNA Markers for Feed Efficiency, Tenderness, and Quality Grade which greatly enhances their time proven bloodlines. We don't settle for "good Angus," or fat showy cattle, we breed the kind of Angus that set the pace for others to follow.
Mission Statement
Our end objective is to provide the consumer with a consistently tender, palatable and enjoyable dining experience with Black Angus Beef. To achieve this objective, we only breed and sell those Registered Angus cattle, embryo's or semen which possess most, if not all, the known DNA Markers for Feed Efficiency, Tenderness, and Quality Grade while at the same time possessing proven bloodlines with impressive EPD's. In this manner you are assured that each animal we select as replacements for our herd or sell to a Registered or commercial breeder is a Registered Black Angus that represents the "total package" required to meet the end objective.
